The R.E.P.O.R.T #1

Welcome to the R.E.P.O.R.T, where I will be telling you all about what I have been reading,  eating, playing, obsessing over, recommending and treating myself to each given week.

This week I have been out of my month-long reading slump, and I have resumed reading the A  Court of Thorns and Roses series. Spoilers ahead: A Court of Mist and Fury had a very  intriguing enemies-to-lovers trope that I thought added to the plot of the series as a whole and this book ended on a cliffhanger, so I...

The R.E.P.O.R.T. #2

Welcome back to The R.E.P.O.R.T! Thanks for coming back to see what I am up to. I have so much to share with you all this week.

This week I have been reading “A Court of Silver Flames” which is the last book by Sarah J. Maas’ in her series “A Court of Thorns and Roses” or “ACOTAR” for short. Spoiler alert: This book is all about Feyre’s sister Nesta who has become super shut-off from the world, her family and friends after the Hybern war. Feyre and her family are on a mission to bring...

Freedom Paws: Training psychiatric support dogs on campus

Poetry Slam records low attendance despite the event’s successful past

Active Minds held a poetry slam for students Wednesday at The Student Center, and zero participants showed up to the event.
Active Minds Vice President, Bobby McDonald, said the lack of participants in this year’s events may be due to Kent’s new policy, which requires all student organization members to participate in anti-hazing training.
“I think that extra step has kind of hurt attendance … you have to have it completed to be an official member and to be able to come to all the events, and...

My Summer TBR List

Throughout the semester I never get enough time to read for my own enjoyment, so my physical TBR list gets extremely long. Currently, I have about 50 books sitting on my shelf that I haven’t had a chance to pick up yet and they are starting to collect dust. My plan is to find a comfy lawn chair by some sort of body of water and lose myself in mystical worlds and fictional destinations. My goal this summer is to read all of my current TBR books.
I am a Sarah J. Maas girly. I have completed both...

My guide to dining at Walt Disney World

I love visiting Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida for so many reasons, but the food and snacks are definitely the best reason to plan a trip to the parks in my opinion. The food at the Florida parks is so good that I have decided to move to Walt Disney World this August to participate in the Disney College Program.Okay, that is not the only reason I am packing up and heading down to the parks, but it is a big driving factor. Since I am playing up the Disney dining scene so much, I think it w...

Dine Deliciously: The Guide to Dining at Chain Restaurants

Who doesn’t love a good restaurant? Whether you are going out with friends, your significant other, family or just yourself it can be hard to come by a restaurant that checks all the boxes. A perfect meal is not just the main course, it’s the drinks and appetizers you get beforehand, the entree itself and some delicious dessert to finish it off. Lucky for you I have eaten at a lot of places and I’m a self-proclaimed food critic, if you count liking food as a qualification.
